My wife and I are great fans and plan on bringing a slew of people here this year because its the best haunted stuff we have found and we drive all over NJ and eastern PA looking.
However, we have never done the Haunted Hayride. I wonder if anyone can give some background --- is it just as good as the field of terror or better -- just different?
Many thanks.

from what i recall last year, the hayride wasn't that great. Yea they had people popping out of nowhere blah blah blah. You have to realize that hayrides aren't that frightening. You don't have control off where your going, your going the same speed, you just sit there and wait for stuff to come at you. With the walkthrough, you have the option of taking your time etc.
field of terror 5/5
hayride- 3/5

Each year, the hayride is getting better and better. I don't want to give everything away, but there were a couple of really cool scenes such as a huge graveyard with a cool zombie theme. Also, they really did a nice job this year with updating the 'entranceways and signage' on the hayride to really give you an atmosFEAR. The new electric area was also a very good touch this year.
